Software Sales Account Executive (Inside the Beltway)
eDirectory is growing and we're looking for a sales rep to help sell our software solutions and services. eDirectory, based inside the Beltway with offices in Sao Paulo Brazil and Manila, Phillipines, is used by hundreds of media companies and web site publishers around the world to develop niche online directories. We are seeking a motivated and success-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This is a very unique entry level inside sales position as NO COLD CALLING is required, and the pace of growth within the sales team is rapid. As an inside sales Account Executive, your job will be to help prospect and qualify leads for Direct Sales representatives. The Inside Sales position requires 6+ months of demonstrated prospecting and lead qualifcation. After this period of demonstrated success and leadership, the successful candidate will be promoted to a Direct Sales role, which entails closing deals, making sales presentations, leading conference calls and webinars, and attending industry conferences and tradeshows. The role will allow the right candidate to make a measurable, significant impact on a growing software company.
What we are looking for:
- 0-2 years of sales/marketing experience
- College Degree from an accredited college or university required.
- Driven, energetic professional who is focused on the growth of his/her career.
- Someone who is comfortable selling software solutions to companies, both on the phone and in person.
- Someone who can pick up software and web-based applications quickly, and can easily explain how they work to others.
- Candidates with a track record of exerting leadership qualities and straying from the beaten path
Job Description:
- Qualify prospects that come to us through marketing initiatives (E-mail blasts, webinar attendees, whitepaper downloads, etc)
- Set calls/demos/presentations for Direct Sales representatives.
- Little to NO cold calling. This is an EXTREMELY unique opportunity for an entry level sales representative as 99% of all leads are those who pro-actively come to us.
- Re-engage prospects in the sales process by following up with leads that the Direct Sales rep has lost contact with.
- Occasionally assist Direct Sales Reps in following up to close leads, specifically around campaigns and promotions.
- Assisting the Marketing and Product Development team in creating new features and developing a product roadmap.
- Make a significant contribution to the sales team in order to move into a Direct Sales position within 6-8 months.
Compensation:
- NO TELECOMMUTING: base salary + Commission (First Year On Target Earnings of $60,000 +). Medical & Dental Benefits, Paid Vacation, 401K. Excellent opportunity for career growth.
