The eDirectory iPhone App Framework is here!
In an effort to help grow the revenue streams and site traffic for eDirectory site owners, eDirectory has recently launched "eDirectory for the iPhone". Site owners can publish their directory content into their own a private label iPhone App based on our framework. With the ability to add your branding at the top, this app will allow all iPhone users to view the directory site and easily access business listings, classifieds, articles and more.
"Today there are an estimated 21 million iPhone users, and a private label iPhone application is a great addition to the eDirectory product line. The additional traffic generated through the iPhone apps will be a valuable asset to eDirectory site owners," said eDirectory CEO, James Chubb.
For eDirectory owners, the cost of licensing the iPhone app framework, installing your brand at the top, and distributing to the App Store is a one time $995. The eDirectory development staff will work with you to get your app submitted and approved by the App Store. Once it is live in the app store, users can download your application for either no cost or a price you determine, and view real time content of your eDirectory database.
Note Apple requires that App Store submissions be made through your own developer account, which costs $99.
